I am an evolutionary biologist with interests in genetics, field biology, and organismal biology. My current postdoctoral fellowship is funded through the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation and I work in the Thomson Lab at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa.

I’m originally from California where I obtained my undergraduate degree in biology from California State University Sacramento. I attended graduate school at the University of Kansas where I got my PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology working with Rafe Brown in the Biodiversity Institute.

My ‘Research’ and ‘Publications’ pages have more information about my scientific interests. Check out my ‘Research and Field Blog’ and the ‘News’ pages to find out about recent updates.
